Mola-Mola
The Mola Mola season began; unusual Mola Mola fish are very attractive because of their shape and swimming; Mola Mola fish are oval shaped and flattened, like a disk, therefore many people call them sunfish or moonfish. Mola Mola fish can reach a size of over 3 m and they can weigh up to one and a half tons. Moonfish are pelagic fish and live at the depth of up to 600 m, but they can lie on their sides on the surface of the water.

The most popular place to see Moonfish is the Island of Nusa Penida; there are also other suitable places, such as Padang Bay, Gili Tepekong and Tulamben. According to the experience, it is better to choose the days of diving during the full moon or new moon in order to increase the probability of meeting with these extraordinary fish.
